The excitement of winter is again in Maui... the humpback whales are back home - the mamas and babies playing in the cobalt blue, deep Pacific waters; the sugar cane and all the grasses are in full bloom; the big north swells are rolling in; the winter sun's kiss is ever-so-gentle; and the playful tradewinds have picked up a delightful chill while skimming the ice on their way to us.... And of course there is always the possibility of snow atop Mt. Haleakala!
